Cover of What is Your Mind? by Michael Daw

Michael Daw, PhD, is a parapsychologist, author, environmental activist, and public speaker. His first book – What is Your Mind? – is an engaging and accessible introduction to current scientific explanations for consciousness. It includes a foreword by best-selling author Dean Radin and is due for publication in October 2026.

The book is based on his prize-winning essay and argues that theories suggesting the mind is just the brain are at best incomplete, not least because of phenomena such as telepathy, reincarnation, and free will. The book examines other theories that suggest that consciousness is quantum mechanical, is to be found in higher dimensions, is field-like, is informational and that it’s all there is. If you’d like to be notified when the book is available, just contact him with your email address.

Mike’s other area of research is on the relationship of diet – particularly fasting and vegetarianism – with spirituality and psychic experiences such as telepathy, precognition, and psychokinesis.

Mike is an engaging speaker and regularly presents to general and academic audiences about these topics and more. If you would like him to speak at your event, or just to connect and say hello, please contact him via this website or get in touch via LinkedIn or Facebook.
